The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku has
reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to provide steady power
supply in the country.
The Minister at a news conference today did a review of the FG’s achievements in 2012, listing measures that have been put in place to address the shortfall of power supply.
He said President Jonathan’s power reforms programme has led to an increase of 4,502 megawatts of electricity, expected to move up to about 7,000 megawatts by the end of 2013.
