The House of Representatives on Tuesday suspended its proceedings due to erratic power outage at the National Assembly complex.
A committee of the house was set to consider a report submitted by the Ndidi Elumelu-led Committee on Health.
The Committee on Health had added its input into the Bill for an Act to repeal the National Health Insurance Scheme Act, before its presentation to the house.
But midway into the clause by clause consideration of the recommendations of the Health Committee, electricity supply to the hallowed chamber went off.
The continued fluctuation in power also caused the public address system including microphones and the camera in the chamber to malfunction for about one hour.
This erratic power supply forced the leadership of the house to adjourn its proceedings.
