In a bid to ensure that contracts are executed according to specifications, the Federal Government has announced plans to monitor constituency projects initiated by members of the National Assembly.
Addressing a news conference in Abuja, the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Govermental Affairs, Kabiru Turaki says the Federal Government is committing N100 billion into constituency projects of legislators, adding that the need to monitor the execution of such projects has become imperative.
He added that the government is determined to ensure that the country is evenly developed through functional projects that are capable of impacting positively on the lives of Nigerians.
