The injured governor of Kogi State; Captain 
Idris Wada, will spend at least three months before he can gain full 
recovery after sustaining a fracture in his thigh bone in a car accident
 on Friday, December 28, 2012.
 Speaking
 to journalists in Abuja, the medical director of Cedarcrest Hospital, 
Dr. Felix Ogedegbe, who conducted a check on the governor on Friday 
explained that Captain Wada is recovering well from the injuries 
sustained in the crash.

Dr. Ogedegbe added that the governor will only come in for routine check-up at the hospital.
The Governor was discharged from hospital on New Year’s Day.
Governor Wada had earlier told journalists that he is feeling well and expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support and prayers.
