The
Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF) has commiserated with the
Government and people of Ekiti State over the death of the state’s
Deputy Governor, Mrs Oluwafunmilayo Aduni Olayinka.
Chairman of the forum and Governor of Niger State, Muazu Aliyu In a statement enjoined Governor Kayode Fayemi and the people of the state to be encouraged by the fact that the late Deputy Governor lived an inspiring and a fulfilled life.
The forum also urged members of the deceased’s family to be consoled by the fact that the late funmilayo departed after a life of dedication to service of God and humanity.
The statement described the late Mrs Olayinka as a ‘good woman’ who had a positive impact on the environment around her.
It prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and the people of Ekiti State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
