Kolade canvasses religious tolerance, Nigerian unity

Despite the myriad of challenges facing the nation, chairman of the Subsidy Re-Investment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P), Ambassador Christopher Kolade, on Thursday said  no matter the difficulties, Nigeria is still on track and has not lost direction.
The former ambassador to United Kingdom however advised that for the country to remain on track, Nigerians must go beyond the preaching of religious tolerance to working at ensuring that dialogue is used as a tool to resolve religious conflicts
Earlier, the Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, said it is embarrassing that Nigeria still suffers from lack of religious cohesion.
He urged religious and political leaders to ensure that the level of misunderstanding of the various religions in the country are eradicated.
