Officers of the Nigeria Customs Service have
paraded four suspects who specialise in the creation of fake website
advertising job vacancies by the service.
Addressing journalists in Abuja, the assistant Comptroller General of customs in charge of the headquarters, Mr. Tahir Musa said that the suspects use the fake websites to defraud job seekers of huge sums of monies.
Also paraded were two youth corps members, Sanusi Abubakar and Hassan Maiyaki who received N400,000 and N3,000,000 respectively for job offers into the Nigeria customs service.
Mr. Musa appealed to Nigerians not to patronise the criminals, adding that service does not extort money from people before they are given jobs.
