The commencement of the new Nigeria Premier
League (NPL) season has again been shifted till next month owing to cash
constraints.
The interim management committee of the NPL has therefore shifted the league kick-off from this weekend to March the 9th after an emergency meeting in Abuja.
The board also announced that the draw for the season’s fixtures will take place on Friday at FIFA Goal Project auditorium in Abuja.
The 20 NPL teams representatives are expected to attend Friday’s draw.
