Passers-by use a hose from a cement mixer and bottles of spring water to douse the fire as they rescue a woman pinned in a burning car on Interstate 10 in Hancock County, Miss., Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012. The fire was extinguished by the hose of a cement mixer, and fire extinguishers from nearby truckers. The woman was then extracted from the wreckage by the civilians as rescue personnel arrived, and she and her disabled sister, who was removed from the wreckage early, were airlifted from the scene.
