The on-going investigation into the murder of
Mr Ugochukwu Ozuah appears deadlocked as the family of the deceased and
the police have different accounts of what happened.
36-year old Ozuah was shot on September the 20th this year on the Gbagada expressway in Lagos by officers alleged to belong to the Nigeria Police Force, an allegation the force has denied, claiming the victim was shot by armed robbers who were passing along the expressway.
The late Ozuah was killed just a few days after he got married. He was alleged to be escorting a friend who came to visit when he was shot by men in the moving van.
The Ozuah family lamented to Channels Television that the Lagos state police command is yet to get to the family on any investigation on the murder while the police authority claim the on-going investigation will prove what actually happened that day.
