It seemed there was no chance of feuding pair Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell ever becoming friends.
But relations between the two have thawed dramatically after the tycoon sent the comedienne a get well message after she suffered a heart attack.
It seems The Donald was moved when he found out his old sparring partner had been taken to hospital due to the health scare, sending her a touching message on social networking website Twitter.
Calling a truce: Donald Trump ended hostilities with Rosie O'Donnell by wishing her well today following her heart attack
And it was obvious the openly gay funnywoman was quite taken aback by the message, even joking that it could have brought on a relapse.
She replied: '"Well thank you donald - I must admit your post was a bit of a shock.
'Are you trying to kill me?'

'Bullies are people that you have to meet head-on, and I met her head-on.
'A lot of people didn't, but she didn't get away with it.'
He also responded with glee when her show on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network was cancelled earlier this year.
He said: 'I predicted correctly that Rosie would never make it.
'I did say that and she never made it, so that was sort of good and I was very proud of that, frankly.'
The duo have had a longstanding feud that began in 2006, when she criticised Celebrity Apprentice chief for not firing then-Miss USA Tara Conner, who was embroiled in scandal at the time. Trump owns the Miss USA pageant.
Rosie revealed on her website yesterday she is lucky to be alive after suffering a 'widow maker' heart attack
In a poem about her near-death experience, posted on her blog, she described how she put her symptoms down to helping a 'heavy' woman from a car.
She had an ache in her chest and arms last week and took Bayer Aspirin, which may have saved her life, but waited until the next day to go to a cardiologist.
The stand-up favourite was told she had suffered a heart attack and was sent to the hospital where a stent was put in.
She has been giving constant updates on Twitter about her condition, and seems to be on the road to recovery.
After thanking people for all the good wishes today, she added: 'Listening to Barry Manilow - painting - feeling good.'
Rosie has urged her female fans to seek medical help if they suffer symptoms of cardiac arrest after she risked her life by ignoring her illness.
