It looks like they're having a great time, with their arms around each other - all keeping step in a strange dance routine.
But they're not forming a conga line, once popular at parties and late night bars. Instead they're being forced to form a line in preparation for a life BEHIND bars.
The unnamed ne'er do wells are being escorted to a police aircraft at the Internacional Aiport of Morelia in Mexico.
This looks like fun: A group of prisoners
shuffle towards a federal police plane at the international airport of
Morelia in Mexico - kept close together by armed guards
More serious tone: A wider shot shows heavily
armed police swarming around the inmates as they are taken to secret
locations around the country
So serious are the offences committed by these men that they are being taken to an 'undisclosed' location the country, where they will begin a lengthy stretch in prison.
Some 200 inmates serving federal sentences were transferred to federal prisons during an operation by the Secretary of Public Security (SSP).
Itchy trigger fingers: Officers armed with
shotguns and automatic weapons escort the prisoners before they board a
federal police aircraft
Tight security: The operation is a bid to keep
the locations of dangerous criminals secret, and keep the incidence of
prison-break attempts to a minimum
And a happy side effect is that the police get to have a good laugh watching their jailbird do the hokey cokey all the way to the chokey.
