UNILAG Confirms Bello As New VC

The governing council of the University of Lagos has officially confirmed Professor Rahamon Bello as the Vice Chancellor of the institution.
The appointment, which is for a period of five years, took effect on Monday, November 12, 2012.
The confirmation ceremony held during the 50th convocation which held at the main auditorium of the university.
Professor Bello, who was the Deputy Vice-chancellor (Management Services), promised that his administration as the VC will focus on education research and infrastructure development.
