An e-book or information product is one of the best ways to use the Internet to make money. Once you have an information product written and ready to sell there are a few methods that you can use to really optimize your profits. Here are four steps that I suggest you take to really maximize your profit potential and make the most amount of money possible.
The first thing that you should do is sign your product up as an affiliate at ClickBank or Paydotcom. Since information products and e-books online have an unlimited amount of supply it will not hurt you to offer high commission percentages to people that are willing to sell your product. This is free advertising and a very profitable method to increase the amount of money you make with your information product.
When you sign it up at these affiliate websites people will be able to view your product in the marketplace and have a special link to promote your product so you both can make money. You should also set up an affiliate program page on your website to allow your affiliates to download banners and other promotional materials that will help them sell your information product.
Second, you can go after affiliates yourself without just assuming that they will find you in the marketplace. Find websites pertaining to your topic and e-book and e-mail these webmasters to see if they might be interested in promoting your product. You may not get any replies or you may be rejected a few times but the more that you send out the more chance that you have that someone will say yes. Take a whole day to send out e-mails and find people to promote your product. Let them know it's a win-win situation and all they have to do is put up a simple link or banner to make money.
The third thing that you should have already done is to include keywords on your website that will land you some easy targeted traffic. You also want to make sure that the content on your website is very good and one that will spread virally and naturally online. If your content is good, people will link to you and your website will move-up the search engine rankings and you will receive free traffic.
Step four involves the normal promotion techniques that you should do with your new website. You should write a press release and send it out to the various press release directories. You should also write plenty of articles, participate in discussion boards and forums, comment on other peoples blogs, and even list your website in the various directories on the Internet. The more links that you get out there, the more chance you have that people will find your website and buy your new product.

A Financial Model That Drives Your Success
http://4eebc9kpx6la7p8r0mn80xcl4e.hop.clickbank.net/
By Ken Kaufman
INTRODUCTION
"Creating a solid financial model and using it to run your business is one of the fundamental actions required to build a successful business" (Lance Weatherby Blog, 18 Oct 2007). Assembling the dynamic and fixed parts of the financial structure of a business creates a powerful tool - a financial model. However, failing to use it to run and improve your business renders it powerless. We hope to briefly discuss some of the benefits that may come if you discipline yourself to participate in and regularly revisit this exercise.
WHY CREATE THE MODEL
Here are the words of a budding entrepreneur: "I had a mentor who sat me down and built a financial model for me. He asked me, 'How many days does it take to do this? How many people does it take to do that?' Building on the answers to those and many other questions, he was able to predict the company's future several years down the line, a big plus in meeting with venture capitalists" ("Speaking From Experience," Entrepreneur.com, 11 Jan 2008). Your model can help you see years into the future and help you appropriately capitalize your business.
FORECASTING THE FUTURE
Business owners often see no value in trying to understand the future because, as they might say, "I don't know what's going to happen in the future." While their statement is probably true, it fails to consider that forecasting the future empowers them to make the best decisions as the future becomes the present.
Here is an example from a real company doing about $10 million in annual sales. The company saw a decrease in its sales in 2007 of 21%. The firm's financial model helped the owners maneuver through its unforeseen internal and external challenges, tweak part of their revenue and cost structure, and still have a very profitable year. More importantly, the firm will, as a result of its corrections in 2007, increase sales in 2008 by at least 44% and reach an entirely new level of profitability. Without their financial model as a guide, they would have lost money in 2007 and would be struggling to return to a break-even status in 2008.
VIABILITY AND CREDIBILITY
You will struggle to receive debt and/or equity financing if you do not have a firm grasp of your financial model. Lenders, angel investors, venture capitalists, and often friends and family want to see the financial model and understand how it works. They will ask questions about your assumptions and may want to look at your historical performance to validate your claims. Your model will also clarify the amount of external money required, your intended use of the funds, and the repayment period or return on investment your financier can expect.
CONCLUSION
Regardless of if you need to raise money to take your firm to where you want it to go, having a financial model will help you run and improve your business. Throughout my rel=nofollow [http://www.cfowise.com/careers/]CFO career, I have used financial modeling to help companies maximize their cash flow and improve their profitability. If you use it correctly, your model will be a driving force in your success.

Which Government Websites Have Product Recall Information?
By Everett Sizemore
There is no one government agency in charge of issuing recall
notices for all products. Instead, different products fall under
different jurisdictions, each of which is handled by a
completely separate agency. In this article we will explain the
jurisdiction of each of the six major government agencies in
charge of recalling products and issuing recall alerts.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - http://www.fda.gov:
The FDA is probably most thought of when the word “recall”
comes up. It is obvious that the FDA deals with food and drug
issues, but they are also in charge of testing, monitoring and
recalling medical devices (pacemakers, contact lenses...),
animal feed, cosmetics, and products with the potential to cause
health-related side effects, such as cell phones and lasers.
Although the FDA is in charge of “food,” they also share that
responsibility with the next federal agency…
United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) -
http://www.usda.gov:
The USDA was founded by President Abraham Lincoln in 1862, and
has been involved in a variety of agricultural initiatives ever
since. Not only is the USDA steward to our nation's 192 million
acres of national forests, and providing food to children
through school breakfast and lunch programs, but the agency is
also responsible for the safety of meat, poultry (including
egg), milk and fish products. These responsibilities often
encompass the study of pesticide use, which overlaps with the
next governmental recall arm...
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) - http://www.epa.gov:
The EPA, in addition to the many other responsibilities
involved in protecting our environment, are charged with the
recalling of products that threaten to harm humans, animals, or
the environment in which we live. For instance, recently the EPA
ordered five national retail chains to recall a brand of spray
confetti string which contained banned hydro chlorofluorocarbons
blamed for depleting the ozone layer. This very same product
could have also been recalled by another government agency,
however, for its highly flammable contents, which are often
sprayed over people at birthday parties near flaming candles.
The agency that would be responsible for this type of recall
is...
Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) -
http://www.cpsc.gov:
The CPSC is in charge of protecting the public from
"unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from more than
15,000 types of consumer products under the agency's
jurisdiction". They handle recalls for a host of potentially
dangerous products, from toys with choking hazards to heaters
with propensity to start a fire. Most products with a defect of
some kind will find their way into the CPSC database of recalled
consumer products. But if that product has wheels and an engine,
or is a part of a product that has wheels and an engine, you
might be better off researching at the next governmental
agency...
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) -
http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov:
The NHTSA was established to reduce deaths, injuries and
economic losses resulting from motor vehicle crashes. They set
and enforce safety standards for motor vehicles and vehicle
parts, and provide studies and reports on anything related to
motor vehicle use, from tires and seatbelts, to SUVs and cell
phone use while driving. If you want to know if the used car you
just purchased has any defective auto parts, the NHTSA database
is a good start. However, if you just purchased a used boat, the
following agency is better suited for your needs...
US Coast Guard - http://www.uscg.mil:
You probably don’t think of product recalls when someone
mentions the Coast Guard. However, in addition to their duties
to patrol America’s coast line and assist those in distress, the
Coast Guard also tests, reports on, and recalls boats, boating
parts, and marine safety devices like flares and life jackets.
But good luck finding recall information on the Coast Guard’s
website!
As you can see, the responsibilities of each agency overlap to
some degree with other agencies. Furthermore, issuing recall
alerts is only a small part of each organization’s
responsibility. This is why is can be difficult, time-consuming
and frustrating to locate the information you’re looking for
among these six websites. Luckily, this problem has been
remedied by an ex-journalist with a passion for social corporate
responsibility and citizen journalism…
US Recall News – http://www.usrecallnews.com:
US Recall News is a non-governmental website that brings
together recall alerts from each of the six major government
agencies listed above, and separates them into various
categories. The alerts are then archived at the end of each
month, and remain searchable from the website.

George Brown's Traffic Ultimatum Review - Product and Opportunity Review
By David James Boozer
George Brown's Traffic Ultimatum is a relatively new program designed to help individuals find massive success online. So what is this 'so-called' amazing product, and what can it do for your current business? George Brown's Traffic ultimatum is an online Internet marketing product designed to help the many struggling Internet business owners drive the lifeblood that is traffic. The system itself costs around $500 dollars, but of course for now it is $197, and as an experienced Internet marketer, this price will remain the same.
For many programs like these, the "get it now" price is of course simply sales copy. So what does GBTU have to offer you? The program comes complete with several trainings on Internet marketing using such methods as article marketing, social media, pay per click, piggybacking with banner ads and of course viral marketing with video. These are of course some of the most used and practiced methods of marketing and as many of us who have been using these for some time now notice the fact that some could use a little training. There is nothing better than continuing education in the profession you are in and staying up with the latest and greatest methods for marketing your business or products.
George Brown's Traffic Ultimatum is a good product with several decent trainings with some of the most used methods on the Internet, but this system will change as the Internet does what it does changing and growing constantly and the latest and greatest training program will have to be updated and purchased. For many however that are already online and are looking for some simple quick tutorials to get them going in the right direction, this program could be a decent start for a low price. The old saying goes however that "you get what you pay for" so do your due diligence before purchasing any training program and seek out those who have purchased the training through forums and blogs.
Through proven training and solid effort, David J. Boozer has transitioned from a successful top Insurance Producer to a successful Online Business owner and Entrepreneur. Rapid Mass Traffic - Without Google? Know the Real Secret NOW
By J Jenkins
Getting Rapid Mass Traffic online is one of the major concerns of 99 percent of the people who are trying to make a penny doing anything online. I have seen people who are struggling to make any kind of money online, trust me, they are not even able to make a dollar online just because they do not know how to get traffic to their website and on the other hand I know people who are very successful online who just know how to get mass traffic to their website and are making six figures online every month.
You may not realize the true necessity of traffic when you are new to the internet and trying to make some money by creating a website after hearing many other people making insane amount of money online. Truly making such kind of money online is possible. But the truth behind all these lies is that you need to get traffic to make ANYTHING happen online.
But How Do You Get Rapid Mass Traffic?
Getting traffic is one thing and getting massive traffic rapidly is completely different thing. Trust me, I know, I have been there and I have suffered as some of you are currently suffering from not having any traffic to their website and just HOPING to make something happen.
Now, one method to get mass traffic fast is to have your website appear at the top of the search engines for the words or phrases that your target people are searching in the search engines. This is called search engine optimization and presently getting traffic through this method only helps if you get on the top of Google search results as they dominate the search traffic to any website online. (almost 70 % according to recent survey)
But...
Is There a Way to Get Rapid Traffic Without Google?
I'm glad you asked me this question. Many people think that getting traffic to their website will happen ONLY if they target the search engines. This might be true in one sense, but, it is absolutely competitive and very time consuming to see at least decent visitors to your website. Did you know that more than 70 percent of the traffic online comes from people who are clicking banners? yes... the same banners you see on almost every site online.
But THINK before you INK...
Before you can start to feel that you can get quick mass traffic using the banner advertising method, just think the amount of money you will have to spend in order to get the traffic. Even if people tell you that you can get massive traffic at very cheap price in these places, if you don't know what you are doing you might spend much more than on AdWords, which is another major burner of small pockets (like yours and mine) online.

PCI Slots - An Integral Part of Your New Industrial Computer
By Josh Gwinn
PCI Slots have become the industry standard for expansion technology and connectivity. Correctly configuring your new PCI-based Industrial PC is essential to keeping your industrial computing process moving smoothly. Let's look at how and why this benefits your business.
1. Many PCI slots available - up to 18 in a system
When you need to host lots of expansion devices, you need lots of slots. Configure up to 18 PCI slots in your new industrial computer so you know you'll have room to grow.
2. Long term 3-5yr availability
When configuring an industrial computer for your PCI needs, it's important to choose one with long-term availability, especially if your are designing a system that will have to be reproduced at a later date. Only a reputable industrial computer supplier that offers long-life industrial motherboards, single board computers (SBC), passive backplanes, and Panel PCs can guarantee long term support.
3. Bus Mastering
Expansion devices are capable of taking control of the PCI bus to perform direct data transfers. It is important to understand the requirements of your PCI expansion, IO and Data Acquisition cards and their compatibility with an industrial computer PCI bus. A quality industrial computer supplier will work with you to understand your requirements and verify system compatibility, so your industrial computer system arrives working as expected.
4. Support for the future
An industrial computer manufacturer that understands the industrial market place will offer support for past, current and future technologies. While most data acquisition, control and interface expansion cards are available today in PCI interface; the future of PCIe and 64-bit PCI (3.3V 64-Bit, 5V 64-Bit, PCI-X) interface is already here. Further, most industrial computing applications still have ISA cards that they can't do without. It is important to choose an industrial computer supplier that provides PCIe expansion (aka PCI Express, Peripheral Component Interconnect, PCI-E) as well as PCI and ISA. PCIe sockets can be configured for PCIe x1, PCIe x4 and PCIe x16 devices. PCIe allows for faster device communication as it eliminates the need for the bus to switch priorities between devices. Choosing a 64 bit PCI-capable board doubles the rate of data transfer for capable devices over 32-bit PCI. Make sure to correct the right [http://www.duropc.com]PCI Slots for your needs!
5. Built for Industry
Your equipment works hard. That's why we offer standard features such as multiple serial ports (RS-232/RS-422/RS-485, watchdog timer, onboard digital IO, dual gigabit Ethernet ports, many USB ports, onboard RAID, Hardware Monitoring (CPU/system temperature, CPU/system voltage, CPU/system Fan), SMBus (System Management Bus for advanced monitoring / control interface), Intel® iAMT & iTPM support and robust-durable industrial chassis. Your industrial computing application is too important to trust to off the shelf desktop models.
Configure your new Rackmount Computer with PCI Slots today. I'm standing by to ensure all of your technical needs are met. Visit [http://www.duropc.com]DuroPC.com for more info.
